These are the questions South African buyers ask before they order a spring rebounder or mini trampoline: prices, delivery, assembly, springs, mat care, warranty and returns. The answers come from the Jump Rebounding studio team in Ermelo. If your question is not here, email admin@jumprebounding.co.za or use the enquiry form.
Before you buy
Why choose a spring rebounder?
A spring rebounder is a mini trampoline built for fitness, and the springs set the feel. They compress and return with a firm, quick response, the studio-style bounce used in professional rebounding classes. Jump Rebounding specialises exclusively in spring rebounders. Bungee models give a softer, deeper bounce. We describe the feel rather than claim one system suits everyone.
What is the difference between a rebounder and a mini trampoline?
In most cases, nothing. "Rebounder" is the word studios and instructors use. "Mini trampoline" and "exercise trampoline" are the words most South Africans search with. Both describe the same class of equipment: a small, firm fitness trampoline, usually around 40 inch (101 cm), used for a low-impact, full-body workout at home or in a class. We compare the words in Rebounder vs mini trampoline: what is the difference.
What does a rebounder or mini trampoline cost in South Africa?
The Jump Rebounding Premium Spring Rebounder costs R2,600. The Replacement Mat costs R649. That price buys 36 high-strength chrome-plated springs, a powder-coated steel frame, a 150 kg maximum user weight, CE certification, and parts support through Jump Care. Free standard delivery applies to eligible orders. Commercial pricing is available for orders of six or more rebounders through the enquiry form.
How much space does a rebounder need?
The frame is 40 inch (101 cm) across and the jumping bed sits 12 inch (30 cm) high. Choose a level floor with clear space around the rebounder and enough overhead room to bounce comfortably. The legs fold and the frame folds twice, so storage takes less room than the rebounder does in use.
Can the rebounder be used indoors and outdoors?
The mat is UV-resistant woven polypropylene and the frame is powder-coated steel.
Do you offer commercial pricing?
Yes. Commercial pricing is available for orders of six or more rebounders. Send your quantities through the enquiry form and we will quote you.
We are a studio or gym. How do we order?
Use the enquiry form with your quantities. Commercial pricing applies from six rebounders. The Premium Spring Rebounder is commercial-grade, built for daily classes, and it is the same equipment Mirna Bothma uses in her Ermelo studio.
The rebounder
How many springs does the rebounder have?
Every Jump Rebounding 40 inch rebounder has 36 high-strength chrome-plated springs. The springs give the quick, firm return that defines the bounce. The Replacement Mat is made for this 36-spring frame.
What is the maximum user weight?
The maximum user weight is 150 kg. The commercial-grade frame is powder-coated mild steel (25 x 25 x 1.2 mm), built for home use and high-frequency studio use.
Can the rebounder be folded?
Yes. The frame folds twice and the 10 inch (25 cm) legs fold flat. This makes the rebounder easier to store and move.
Does the rebounder need assembly?
The frame is a two-fold design with foldable legs.
What is the mat made of, and how should I care for it?
The mat is UV-resistant woven polypropylene mesh, with reinforced stitching and nylon attachment loops. A replacement mat costs R649.
Will the replacement mat fit other brands of rebounder?
No. The Replacement Mat fits the Jump Rebounding 40 inch Spring Rebounder only, the model with 36 springs. It does not fit other brands or other sizes. Springs, frame and spring cover are not included, so you keep your current ones.
