This Product Warranty and Returns Policy applies to Jump Rebounding products supplied directly by Movement Manoeuvres (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/285516/07, trading as Jump Rebounding (“Jump”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or replaces any right or remedy that a consumer has under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”) or any other applicable South African law.

1. Scope and proof of purchase

This Policy applies to products purchased directly from Jump through www.jumprebounding.co.za, an authorised Jump sales channel or another channel expressly confirmed by Jump in writing.

Proof of purchase, the order number or another reasonable record of the transaction may be required.

2. Inspecting delivery

The purchaser should inspect the packaging, rebounder and all supplied components as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

  • Notify Jump promptly if the incorrect product or quantity was delivered.
  • Notify Jump promptly if any item or component is missing, damaged in transit, visibly defective or appears unsafe.
  • Keep the packaging, shipping label and affected components until Jump confirms whether they are required for inspection or collection.
  • Provide clear photographs or video where reasonably requested. A request for evidence does not remove or restrict a statutory consumer right.

Visible transit damage should ideally be reported within 48 hours to assist with the courier investigation. Failure to report within 48 hours does not remove any right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Online cooling-off right

Where section 44 of ECTA applies, a consumer may cancel an eligible online purchase without reason or penalty within seven days after receiving the goods.

  • The consumer must notify Jump at admin@jumprebounding.co.za within the applicable period.
  • The consumer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, as permitted by law.
  • Jump will refund amounts required by law within the applicable statutory period.
  • The product should be returned complete, safely packaged and with all supplied components, accessories and instructions.
  • The consumer remains responsible for damage, loss or deterioration caused by use or handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect the goods, to the extent permitted by law.

4. Incorrect, incomplete or materially different goods

If Jump supplies the incorrect product, incorrect quantity, a materially incomplete product or goods that materially differ from the order or description, Jump will arrange the appropriate collection, correction, replacement or refund at Jump’s cost where required by law.

5. Statutory six-month warranty of quality

For six months after delivery, applicable goods carry the implied warranty of quality provided by section 56 of the CPA.

The goods must be reasonably suitable for their intended purpose, of good quality, in good working order, free of defects and usable and durable for a reasonable period, having regard to the circumstances contemplated by law.

If the goods fail to meet these standards within six months after delivery, the consumer may return the goods without penalty and at Jump’s risk and expense. Subject to the CPA, the consumer may direct Jump to repair the goods, replace the goods or refund the purchase price.

6. Warranty on repairs

A repair performed by or on behalf of Jump, and any part installed during that repair, carries the warranty required by section 57 of the CPA.

If the defect has not been remedied or a further defect arises within the statutory repair-warranty period, Jump will provide the remedy required by law.

7. Additional warranty position after six months

Unless a longer written warranty is expressly stated on the product page, invoice or warranty certificate, Jump does not promise an additional fixed warranty period beyond the statutory rights described above.

After six months, Jump may inspect the product and may offer replacement parts, repairs or goodwill assistance at its discretion, without limiting any continuing legal right that may apply.

8. Conditions not ordinarily treated as manufacturing defects

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the following are not ordinarily covered as manufacturing defects unless the facts show otherwise:

  • Normal wear and tear, including gradual mat or spring wear, cosmetic marks, fading, superficial scratches or normal operational sound.
  • Rust, corrosion, mould or deterioration caused by moisture, rain, outdoor storage, unsuitable cleaning products or poor ventilation.
  • Incorrect assembly, failure to tighten or secure parts, or failure to follow the assembly, inspection, maintenance or safety instructions.
  • Use by more than one person at a time, exceeding the stated maximum user weight, flips, somersaults, stunts, jumping onto or off the product, or other prohibited use.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, animals, sharp objects, impact, fire, chemicals, unsuitable flooring or use while the product is damaged or incomplete.
  • Unauthorised modifications, repairs, replacement parts or accessories.
  • Commercial, studio, gym, school, hospitality or institutional use where the product was expressly sold and labelled for private household use.

These exclusions do not apply where the CPA or another applicable law provides otherwise.

9. Change-of-mind returns outside statutory rights

Outside an applicable statutory cooling-off or return right, Jump is not obliged to accept a return solely because the purchaser changed their mind.

Jump may consider a discretionary return request if the product is unused, complete, undamaged and in its original packaging.

Any discretionary acceptance, return transport cost or reasonable deduction will be confirmed in writing before the return.

10. How to submit a return or warranty claim

  • Email admin@jumprebounding.co.za with the purchaser name, order number and contact details.
  • Describe the issue clearly and state the remedy requested.
  • Attach photographs or video of the product, packaging, affected component and any visible product identification or batch information.
  • Stop using the product immediately if it may be unsafe.
  • Allow Jump a reasonable opportunity to inspect or test the product. Inspection does not remove or restrict a statutory remedy.

11. Return transport and packaging

For confirmed defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or otherwise legally returnable goods, Jump will bear the return risk and expense where required by law.

For ECTA cooling-off returns and discretionary change-of-mind returns, the purchaser may be responsible for return transport as permitted by law.

The purchaser must follow reasonable collection and packaging instructions. If the original packaging is no longer available, the product must be packaged safely to prevent avoidable transport damage.

12. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will normally be processed to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
  • Delivery charges will be refunded where required by law.
  • No restocking fee will be charged where prohibited by law.
  • Any lawful deduction will be disclosed and explained.
  • Bank or payment-provider processing periods may apply after Jump issues the refund.

13. Spare parts and repairs

Replacement mats, springs, legs, handlebars or other approved components may be available for purchase.

Only Jump-approved components should be used. Incompatible or unauthorised components may create a safety risk and may affect warranty coverage to the extent permitted by law.
